How to act if you experience internet fraud
FREJA Transport & Logistics is experiencing misuse of our name, brand and information for fraud purposes.
We have experienced fake websites and fraudulent communication with request for advance payment for goods, bought by private persons on digital market places, before the goods allegedly will be shipped by FREJA Transport & Logistics.
FREJA Transport & Logistics does not offer any escrow (third-party)/payment services involving payment for the goods. If you are asked to pay in advance for such services to foreign bank accounts or via services like Western Union, this is an indication of fraud.
We advise all customers to be cautious in case of requests for advance online payments to the shipping company. Please note that the existence of a consignment number (or tracking number) is not necessarily a proof that a consignment is in the control of FREJA Transport & Logistics.
What to do if you get suspicious of or you become a victim of fraud?
If you have any doubt as to the authenticity of any FREJA communication or whether FREJA Transport & Logistics is in fact delivering a shipment intended for you, please contact us by phone +45 9670 5000 or by email freja@freja.com.
Furthermore, if you become a victim of fraud, we advise you to report the case to your local police. If possible, FREJA Transport & Logistics will assist the police with information required for the investigation.
FREJA Transport & Logistics is doing what we can to prevent fraudulent behavior. Our IT Department and our Legal Department work closely together to inform of scams and to close down and combat this fraud. We are in close dialogue with the authorities, Danish police, our banks etc.
